Slimline Birds of Paradise

Slimline Birds of Paradise

Hello, again! I’m back to share a colorful slimline card featuring Crafty Meraki’s Birds of Paradise stamp set.

Aren’t these images adorable?! I stamped them with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, colored them with Copics and cut them out with the coordinating dies.

Using a die from my stash, I diecut the cloud frame from both white cardstock and lavender glitter paper. I trimmed the clouds from the glitter paper and glued the lavender frame to the white diecut.

My color inspiration came from that beautiful ombre paper from the Color Cascade Pattern Paper Pad. I trimmed the paper to fit a slimline card and attached the cloud diecut with foam tape. I adhered the piece to my card with double-sided adhesive.

My sentiment is from the Gilded Greetings Hot Foil Plate. I foiled it with Bright Pink Glimmer Foil and diecut it with the coordinating die. I glued the sentiment directly to the large cloud.

I arranged my colored images onto my card, attaching them with one or two layers of foam tape (two layers where the images are adhered to the background rather than the clouds). For more sparkle and interest, I added clear sequins to the background.

Thanks for stopping by!
