Hi there! Today I’m sharing a card featuring products from Crafty Meraki and using one of my favorite diecutting techniques: tone-on-tone backgrounds.

For an elegant look, you can’t go wrong with tone-on-tone backgrounds in my opinion. I created this one with the new Marrakech Mosaic Background A2 Die. I diecut the cover plate from white cardstock and adhered it to a white panel. This look reminds me of lace, and I think it is just beautiful and timeless.

You already know how much I love the Peony Artisan Flora Dies, I cut the flower layers from two shades of pink cardstock and assembled the blooms. I cut the foliage from both lime green cardstock and vellum.

That lovely sentiment is from the Hugs Hot Foil Plate and Die Combo. I foiled the sentiment with Rose Gold Glimmer Foil and diecut it with the accompanying die.

After attaching the background panel to a white card, I popped up my sentiment with foam tape. I arranged my flowers and foliage onto the card, securing them with thin 3D foam squares and liquid adhesive. I thought about adding gems or pearls, but didn’t want to distract from that lovely background.
Thanks for stopping by!
