Elegant Lilies

Hello there! Today I’m sharing a mixed media card combining dye inks and hot foil. I hope you’re not tired of lily cards because I have another one to share!

Can you tell how much I love the new Artisan Flora Lily Dies? This time, I diecut the blooms from light pink cardstock and the foliage from lime green. I inked up the pink diecuts with Picked Raspberry Distress Ink and Catherine Pooler Pucker Up and Sangria Inks. To the green pieces, I added Mowed Lawn and Rustic Wilderness Distress Inks. I assembled the layers with a combination of liquid adhesive and thin 3D foam squares.

I used the new Marrakech Mosaic Hot Foil Plate to add Pewter Glimmer Foil to black cardstock. To create a frame, I diecut the center of the panel with Spellbinders’ Notched Corner Frames Dies.

I blended an A2 panel of white cardstock with Catherine Pooler Cummerbund ink. Next, I affixed my foiled frame onto the panel with foam tape and adhered the panel to a white card.

My sentiment is from the Gilded Greetings Hot Foil Plate. I had previously foiled it with Bright Pink Glimmer Foil and diecut it with the coordinating die. I arranged my floral elements onto my card with both dimensional and liquid adhesives and popped up my sentiment with foam. I finished with a scattering of gems from my stash.

Thanks for stopping by!
