Blissfully Scrappy

My card features the Happy Birthday Word Dies and the Fuchsia Sparkle Fabulous Toner Foil from the new release. When I saw that beautiful, pink foil, this paper from the Wildflowers Fabulous Foiling A2 Toner Card Fronts immediately came to mind. It’s hard to capture the beautiful sparkle of this new foil with a camera, but it’s amazing in person!

After transferring the foil to the panel with my Minc, I colored the flowers with Copics. Next, I blended Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide to the top half of the panel with a Life Changing Blender Brush. I affixed the panel to a white card with double-sided adhesive.

I created my sentiment with the new Happy Birthday Word Dies. I diecut “happy” once from yellow metallic cardstock and several times from white cardstock. I adhered the diecuts together and glued the stacked piece to my card. With the same dies, I diecut “birthday” once from glitter paper and another from white cardstock. I stacked the diecuts (The glitter paper was thin, and the white layer gave it some stability) and glued it to “happy”. I finished the card with a few gems from the Starry Skies gem mix.
