Hi there! Crafty Meraki added a new product to their store today – Rainbow Ombre Glitter Paper – and it is fabulous. The ombre effect is beautiful, and the glitter doesn’t flake off!
After selecting the glitter paper I wanted to feature (There are multiple colors), I trimmed an A2 panel from it. I diecut the Marrakech Mosaic Background A2 Die two times, once from black cardstock and another from purple cardstock. I layered the two diecuts together to create some dimension and adhered them to my glitter panel. The dimension helps to enhance that gorgeous glitter paper.
For a focal point, I chose the stemmed rose from the Rose Rhapsody stamp set. After coloring the image with Copics, I diecut it with the coordinating dies.
I adhered my background to a white card with double-sided adhesive. I diecut a circle from vellum and attached my rose to it with dimensional adhesive. I affixed my circle to my card with foam tape, hiding it behind the rose, and trimmed away the excess.
My sentiment is from the You Inspire Me stamp set. After heat-embossing it on black cardstock, I trimmed it down and popped it up with foam. For extra sparkle, I adhered some glittery, purple enamel dots from my stash.
