Scene Card with Bibi’s Cats & Pugs

Hi, friends! Spellbinders asked if I wanted to play with their new collection Bibi’s Cats & Pugs. Naturally, I said yes because I just couldn’t resist those cute critters!

I thought it would be fun to combine the Cheeful Kittens and Party Puggles Dies in a scene. Maybe these two friends are playing, or maybe (more likely?) that pug chased the kitty up into the tree. Either way, these characters sure are cute! I love that both sets of dies offer different poses and accessories for the critters.

After selecting the dies to create my chosen poses, I diecut them from various colors of cardstock. I added shading to the diecuts with dye inks and assembled them with a combination of liquid adhesive and thin 3D foam squares. To create the tree branch for my kitty, I used the stem from the Bee Blossom Dies (retired) and the leaves from the Four Petal Thank You Floral Dies.

Using a cloud stencil from my stash, I blended Tumbled Glass Distress Ink onto a white panel. I diecut the grass from green cardstock and blended Mowed Lawn from the bottom. I adhered the sky panel to a cardbase and glued the grass on top.

I attached my critters with dimensional adhesive and added some Copic shading underneath the pug. I diecut “hello” from black cardstock with the Thanks Enclosed Sentiments Dies and glued it to my card.

Thanks for stopping by!
