Hi there! It’s Andrea back with you to share a sparkly birthday tag featuring Crafty Meraki’s Sweet Celebrations Dies.

You know I love to add ink to my diecuts, but I decided to keep it simple on this tag. That doesn’t mean it’s boring, though, especially not with all of that glitter!

Using the Sweet Celebrations Dies, I cut out the cupcake elements, including the stars, from colored cardstocks and glitter paper. I assembled the cupcake with liquid adhesive. To add sparkle to the frosting, I first applied a bit of glue and then sprinkled on WOW! Cotton Candy Sparkles Glitter.

For the cupcake toppers, I stamped the sentiments from the Enchanting Hugs stamp with Veramark and then applied WOW! Metallic Platinum Regular Embossing Powder. I used the coordinating die to cut out the sentiments. I diecut the sticks with the lollipop die from the Sweet Celebrations Dies and glued each sentiment to a stick. I tucked the ends of the sticks between the frosting layers.

I created a tag from patterned paper and attached the cupcake with foam adhesive. I adhered the stars with liquid adhesive and finished with some twine and ribbon from my stash.
