Blissfully Scrappy

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a fun card featuring the new Be My Boo? stamp set and October 31st Word Dies from Picket Fence Studios.

These ghosts from the Be My Boo? stamp set are so cute! I colored them with Copics, fussy-cut them, and added white highlights with a gel pen.

To create my background, I blended a white panel with the following colors of distress oxides: Salvaged Patina, Unchartered Mariner, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot. I flicked Opaque White Paper Splatter over the panel to represent stars.

For my moon, I diecut a white circle with the 2.0″ Connected Circles Shaker Dies. I blended the circle with gray ink and stamped a sentiment from the Freckle Friends: Bella Boo stamp set. I glued the circle to my background and attached the panel to a white cardbase.

I diecut “October” with the October 31st Word Dies twice – once from black glitter cardstock and once from white cardstock. I trimmed the spider webs from the black diecut before gluing it onto the white one. I popped up the diecut with bits of foam and attached the ghosts with thinner foam adhesive.
