Stenciled Christmas Gift

Stenciled Christmas Gift

Hi there! TodayI’m sharing a Christmas card that combines lots of products from Picket Fence Studios.

That large, poinsettia-topped present is from the new Christmas Wishes Tags & Ornaments stamp set. To add the look of wrapping paper to the present, I used a Pint-sized Paper Pouncer to apply red ink through the Indian Summer 6×8 Stencil. I added shading to the present with gray Copics and colored the other images.

I diecut the images with the coordinating dies and used my scissors to trim the white outline from the green ribbon. I used a black marker on the edges of the ribbon to hide the white core before gluing it to the present. I attached the foliage and poinsettia to the top of the present.

For my background I used the Simple Plaid 6×8 Stencil and applied Golden Rose Paper Glaze to green cardstock. Once the glaze was dry, I trimmed down the panel and adhered it to a white card. I diecut the red and white arches with the Basic Die Cutting Die Set 1 and layered them together, attaching them to my card with strips of foam tape.

I heat-embossed a sentiment from Christmas Wishes Tags & Ornaments and diecut it with the coordinating dies. I attached the present to my card with foam and popped up the sentiment and tag with thin foam squares. I finished with a bit of glitter glue on the poinsettia’s berries.
