Tone-on-Tone Butterflies

Tone-on-Tone Butterflies

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a card featuring Crafty Meraki’s Butterfly Bliss stamp set.

This card came together pretty quickly. I mean, with images as beautiful as this, you don’t need alot! I love how the colors of the butterflies play off the adjacent colors of the patterned paper.

I stamped the butterflies with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with Copics. I diecut them with the coordinating die and added white details with a gel pen. I trimmed a paper from the Color Cascade Patterned Paper to A2 size and diecut a white panel with a border die from my stash.

I adhered the patterned paper to a white card and attached the diecut panel on top. I stamped a sentiment from All My Love onto the white panel with Versafine Onyx Black ink.

I affixed the butterflies to my card with strips of foam tape under the bodies, bending up the wings for dimension. I finished the card with a few blue opals.
