Hi there! Today I’m back with a card that’s sure to brighten someone’s day!

I love Crafty Meraki’s Bouquet Builder Dies and knew I wanted to use them to create a bouquet of sunflowers. I really like how this card turned out!

I started by diecutting the elements for my bouquet from colored cardstock, vellum and glitter paper. To add dimension to the flowers and foliage, I applied coordinating colors of dye ink and then assembled the flowers with liquid adhesive. I used a combination of liquid adhesive and thin 3D foam squares to assemble the bouquet.

For my background I first diecut white cardstock with a postage rectangles die. After masking the edges, I blended the panel with lavender ink, leaving the center of the panel white. To create more interest and soften the ink-blending, I flicked water over the panel, blotting it with a paper towel.

I attached my background to a white cardbase with foam tape and popped up my bouquet with foam squares. I heat-embossed the Gilded Expressions stamp with WOW! Polished Gold Super Fine Embossing Powder and cut out the sentiments with the coordinating die. I adhered my sentiment with layers of foam adhesive and finished with a scattering of gold pearls.
