On my card I’m featuring the beautiful, new Graceful Magnolias stamp. I couldn’t resist coloring them like the magnolias that bloom in my yard in the spring. I colored the images with Copics and cut them out with the coordinating dies.

I decided to keep the background simple so that the flowers really popped. I diecut gold glitter paper and pale green cardstock with the new Beyond Basics: A2 Rectangles and Cover Plate Dies. These dies are an updated version of a previous set with thicker rectangles to prevent potential bending of the dies during the cutting process and with three, new cover plate designs. I layered the two rectangles together and attached them to a cardbase with foam tape.

I arranged my colored images onto my card, affixing them with foam squares, and trimmed off any overhang. For my sentiment I diecut “hello” from the Hello to You Word Dies twice – once from white and again from gold glitter cardstocks. I offset the two diecuts slightly to create a highlight and adhered the layered diecut to my card with a combination of liquid adhesive and bits of foam.

My sub-sentiment is from the Graceful Magnolias set. I stamped it in black, diecut it with the coordinating dies and popped it up with two layers of foam. I finished the card with a scattering of Pale Blue & Soft Copper Pearls.
