Hi, friends! Picket Fence Studios has a new release today, and we’re celebrating with an Instagram hop and a $50 prize. If you’d like a chance to win, be sure to pop over before November 18th.

I’m featuring the new Scene Building: Booth Dies and Scene Building: Booth Labels stamp set. The “Ice Cream Shop” phrase from the Booth Labels set inspired me to create this fun ice cream shop.

I started by diecutting the Booth Dies from aqua and white cardstocks. I used Copics to color some of the elements and to add dimension to them. The ice cream cones are from the Wreath Building Ice Cream You Scream stamp. I colored them with Copics, as well, and fussy-cut them.

I assembled the building with liquid adhesive and popped up the awning and windowsill with thin 3D foam squares. I tucked in the ice cream cones and heat-embossed “ice cream shop” from the Booth Labels set onto green cardstock, which I diecut with the Booth Dies.

For my background I blended pink ink through the Let’s Paint 6×8 Stencil with a Life Changing Blender Brush and added splatters of Liquid White Snowflake Paper Splatter. I trimmed down the panel with the Beyond Basics: A2 Rectangles and Cover Plate Dies and matted it with aqua glitter paper cut with a larger die from the set. I layered the two panels onto a white card and attached the ice cream shop with foam adhesive. I stamped a sentiment from the Wreath Building Ice Cream You Scream set and finished with a few pearls from the Carnival Day sequin mix.
