Easter Hello: New Release from Picket Fence Studios

Hi, friends! There’s a new release from Picket Fence Studios today, and it is adorable! While it may be difficult to think about Easter and spring (There’s snow on the ground here as I write this), they’ll be here before we know it!

As always we’re having an Instagram hop to celebrate the new release, and this time there are THREE prizes up for grabs!

Aren’t those bunnies the cutest?! They’re from the new Follow that Bunny stamp set (Have I mentioned how much I love the new illustrator for Picket Fence Studios?!!). I colored the images with Copics, cut them out with the coordinating dies and added highlights with a white gel pen.

To create the little scenes for my bunnies, I first diecut white cardstock with two of the postage dies from the Beyond the Basics: A2 Stamp Cover Plate with Postmark Dies. For the background I used the new Scene Building A2 Stencil Set: Layers of Adventure. I placed the grass stencil over my diecuts and blended with green ink. After removing the stencil, I lightly blended blue ink to create the sky. I arranged my colored images onto the scenes, adhering them with a combination of thin 3D foam squares and liquid adhesive.

I love plaids and checks, and the new Lovely Gingham Fabulously Glossy A2 Card Fronts is a new favorite! After selecting a paper, I diecut it with the large postage die from the Beyond the Basics: A2 Stamp Cover Plate with Postmark Dies. Using the same dies, I cut two canceled-postage diecuts from blue cardstock. I adhered my diecut patterned paper to a card, glued the canceled diecuts, and attached the little scenes with foam squares.

I stamped a sentiment from Follow that Bunny and diecut it with the coordinating dies (I just love that Picket Fence includes dies for their sentiments!). I popped up the balloons (also from Follow that Bunny) with thin 3D foam squares and attached my sentiment with two layers of foam. I finished with a scattering of iridescent sequins from the new Blissful Beauties sequin mix.

Thanks for stopping by! Don’t forget to check out the Instagram Hop for a chance to win one of THREE prizes!
