Hello there! Have you seen Spellbinders’ Gorgeous You Collection? When I saw the Gorgeous You Makeup Dies, I knew they would make fun embellishments on a scrapbook layout.

Using the Gorgeous You Makeup Dies, I diecut the various elements from colored, metallic and glitter cardstocks. I assembled each diecut with liquid adhesive and added highlights with a white gel pen.

The paper strips and photo mats are from patterned papers by Vicki Boutin, and the background paper is from an old paper pad in my stash. I distressed the edges of the papers for some texture.

I created my title with the Fabulous Birthday Dies. I diecut the words from black and glitter cardstocks, offset the diecuts and adhered them with tiny bits of foam tape.

The piece de resistance is, of course, that cluster of fun makeup products. I adhered them with varying heights of adhesive for lots of dimension. I also added flowers created with the Floral Spray Dies, accenting the centers of each with gems.

I had lots of fun playing with the Gorgeous You Makeup Dies! I can envision them on all sorts of layouts like preparing for prom, wearing makeup for the first time, and many more.
