Hello there! Today I’m sharing a pair of holiday cards featuring Spellbinders’ Country Christmas Collection.

First up is the adorable Country Snowman Dies. I love snowmen, and these dies are so cute, especially with the friends you can create for the snowman.

I diecut all of the elements from colored and white cardstocks, except for the scarf, which I cut from patterned paper. I blended some of the pieces with ink to create a little dimension before assembling the diecuts. I added highlights with a white gel pen.

To create a scene for the snowman, I diecut green and tan cardstocks with the Essential Arches Dies. I embossed the tan arch with the Tiny Dots Embossing Folder. For the snowbank I cut white cardstock with the same arch die I had used for the tan arch and cut the snowbank with my scissors. I adhered the snowbank to the tan arch, which I layered onto the green arch, and popped up my snowmen and friends with foam adhesive.

I trimmed plaid paper from my stash and adhered it to a white card before attaching the arches with foam tape. My sentiment is from the Gifting Bow Dies. I diecut the banner from white and red cardstocks and diecut the sentiment into the red banner. After stacking the banners, I affixed the sentiment to my card with foam.

For my second card, I used the Country Christmas Barn Dies. I diecut the pieces from colored and metallic cardstocks and did a little ink-blending before assembling them.

To create a background for the barn, I started with a panel of blue cardstock and added a couple of distress inks. I cut a snowbank from white cardstock and edged the bottom of it with ink. I adhered the sky flush to a cardbase and attached the snowbank with foam. Next, I attached the barn with a combination of foam and liquid adhesive and popped up the trees with thin 3D foam.

I splattered the card with white paint for a snowy effect. To create more dimension and to ground the barn, I added Copics under the barn and to the snow on the roof.

My sentiment is from the Joyful Christmas Sentiments Hot Foil Plate & Die Set. I foiled the sentiments with Champagne Glimmer Foil onto black cardstock and diecut them with the coordinating die. I popped up my sentiment with foam to finish my card.
