Too Cute to Spook

Too Cute to Spook

Hello, again! I’m back with another Halloween card for Whimsy Stamps (I hope you don’t get whiplash from my flipping back and forth between holidays. LOL).

Today, I’m featuring the adorable Ghost Party stamp set that was part of Whimsy’s August 10th release. I love that these ghosts are dressed up for some spooky fun!

I stamped those cute images onto mixed media paper with Versafine Onyx Black Ink. After watercoloring them with my Zigs, I added white highlights with a gel pen and fussy cut the images.

For an easy background, I used the Tree Silhouette stamp. First, I placed a circle mask onto Bristol Smooth paper and then blended with Tumbled Glass, Mermaid Lagoon, Blueprint Sketch and Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks. After removing the mask, I stamped the Tree Silhouette stamp with Versafine Onyx Black Ink. Once the ink was dry, I diecut the panel with the Wavy Pierced Rectangles Dies. I attached the diecut panel with foam tape to a black mat, which I adhered to a white card, and popped up my colored images with foam.

I stamped a sentiment from the Spirited Sentiments set and diecut it and a black mat with the Frame Labels Dies. I adhered the sentiment to my card with foam and glued googly eyes over the O’s. To finish my card, I added a couple of glittery bats I created with the Bat Reveals Dies.
