Hello there! I’m back with a bit of Halloween inspiration using products from Whimsy Stamps.

Those cute images are from Whimsy’s Spooky Season Icons stamp set. I had so much fun coloring them with my Zig Real Brush Markers! After fussy-cutting them, I added some highlights with a white gel pen.

To create that colorful background, I blended a panel of Bristol Smooth paper with distress inks. From the top left, they are Shaded Lilac, Blueprint Sketch, Wilted Violet, Carved Pumpkin with a little Rusty Hinge, and Twisted Citron mixed with Mowed Lawn. I splattered the panel with water and blotted it dry before adding flicks of white paint. In the center of the panel I stamped a sentiment from the Spooky Season Icons set.

I diecut my shaker frame from black glitter cardstock with the Comic Burst A2 Dies. I backed the frame with clear acetate and a layer of foam tape. After placing some sequins onto my ink-blended panel, I sealed them in place with the frame.

I popped up my stamped images with thin 3D foam squares and finished off the card with some sequins glued to the frame.
