Hello, again! I’m taking a short break from seasonal cards to share a sweet card featuring new dies from Spellbinders.

Those cute scissors were created with the Sharon’s Scissors Dies. I decided to go super girly with my color choices, and that embossed background really brings it all together.

Using the Sharon’s Scissors Dies, I diecut the elements for the scissors from colored and metallic cardstocks and assembled them with liquid adhesive. For my background I embossed pink cardstock with the Cross My Heart 3D Embossing Folder. I trimmed down the panel slightly and adhered it to a white card.

I diecut vellum with the largest die from the Scallop and Stitched Edge Ovals Dies and white cardstock with a smaller die from the set. Onto the white oval, I foiled a sentiment from the Everyday Sentiments II Glimmer Plate (For a similar look, try the Mini Everyday Sentiments Glimmer Plate) with Silver Glimmer Foil. I layered the ovals together and attached them to my card with foam.

For my main sentiment, I diecut “hello” from the Woodland Tales Sentiments Dies from pink and metallic cardstocks. After layering the diecuts, I attached the sentiment with foam. I arranged the scissors onto my card and finished with a scattering of clear confetti.
