Hi there! Before I dive back into seasonal cards, I have one more, everyday card to share.

This card features two new die sets from Spellbinders’ All About Christmas Collection: the Lots of Stripes Dies and the Essential Stars Dies. I went with gender-neutral colors for this card with the intention of sending it to my son at college.

Using the Lots of Stripes Dies, I created that fun shaker. I diecut the frame from blue cardstock and backed it with clear acetate and a layer of foam tape. I diecut a white panel with the same dies (omitting the striped die this time), placed some sequins onto the panel, and secured them with the frame.

I embossed a panel of citrine cardstock with the Stargazer Embossing Folder, trimmed it down, and attached it to a white card. I attached my shaker with double-sided adhesive. To accent the shaker, I diecut some colorful stars with the Essential Stars Dies. I adhered the stars with thin 3D foam squares, accenting the smallest ones with clear sequins.

For my sentiment I combined the Shine Bright Dies with the Ideal Moments Press Plate & Die Set. I diecut “shine” from white and glitter cardstocks, adhered the layers, and attached the diecut to my shaker with thin foam. I foiled a sentiment with Citrine Glimmer Foil, diecut it, and popped it up with two layers of foam.
