Feelin’ Witchy

Feelin’ Witchy

Hello, friends! Today I’m sharing a somewhat cheeky card combining a few products from Whimsy Stamps. For this one I focused on coloring with my Copics, which had grown a little dusty.

I had the idea of placing the characters from the So Witchy stamp set inside the bus from the Karma Bus set. To achieve this, I first stamped the bus and then masked it to stamp the cat. Next, I masked the cat and stamped the witch. The witch and cat are one image, but I simply shifted the stamp in order to stamp them individually. I removed all of the masks, colored the image with Copics and cut it out. To create a scene for my bus, I diecut the lamp post and bats from the Elvira Moonlighting Die set and colored them with Copics. Note: There are coordinating dies for Karma Bus, but I fussy-cut my image.

That patterned paper is from the Licorice paper pack. It reminded me of tire tracks, which I thought was perfect. I framed the paper by diecutting white cardstock with the Rounded Rectangles Dies. I diecut a cloud with the Grass and Cloud Edger Dies. I glued the cloud to the patterned paper and adhered the frame with foam tape.

I attached the lamp post and bats with a combination of foam tape and liquid adhesive and popped up the bus with two layers of foam. Although the Karma Bus set has some great sentiments, I chose to use one from So Witchy for a more Halloween vibe. I diecut white cardstock with the Speech Bubbles Dies, stamped my sentiment, and affixed the speech bubble with foam.

I had fun creating this card and hope it inspired you or at least made you chuckle. Thanks for stopping by!
