Hello, again! It’s time to cue the eerie music because it’s officially spooky season!

For today’s card I chose to focus on Whimsy Stamps’ Halloween Postage stamp and coordinating products. I had oodles of fun creating these cute stamps! If only postage cost a mere 13 cents, sigh.

I started by placing the Postage Window Shadows Stencil over a panel of white cardstock. I then stamped images from the Halloween Postage stamp and created masks for the images. After placing the masks over the images and with the stencil still in place, I ink-blended each opening with dye inks. I removed the masks and stencil and colored all of the images with Copics. Next, I stamped some words and solid images from the Halloween Postage set onto my panel and then diecut it with the Postage Window Die.

To keep the focus on those fun stamps, I left the background fairly simple. I started with a panel of black cardstock and stamped the Messy Mesh Background in white pigment ink. I diecut the panel with the Wonky Stitched Rectangles Dies, wrapped some twine around it, and adhered it to a white card.

I arranged my colored images onto my card, affixing them with foam squares. I stamped a sentiment from the Good Fright set and diecut it with the Quick Strips Dies, using the partial diecutting technique to shorten the banner. I popped up my sentiment with a double layer of foam and finished with a few enamel dots.
