Hello there! Life has been abit hectic lately, but I did find some time to create this super-fun, Halloween mini album. The coolest part is that the base is made from A2 envelopes, which creates pockets to slide in more photos, memorabilia, or journaling. To create the album, I mostly followed this video by Polly’s Paper Studio. If you’d like to see how the pockets operate, I have a reel on my Instagram account.

For this album I used Whimsy Stamps’ Hocus Pocus patterned paper and Cardstock Warehouse’s Colorplan Ebony A2 Envelopes and Lessebo Pitch Black cardstock. The envelopes are a lovely weight on their own, but I like the additional stability that the Lessebo cardstock provides. All of the cardstock I used on this project is from Cardstock Warehouse, and the colors coordinated beautifully with the Hocus Pocus paper!
I decorated the cover of the album with an adorable witch from Whimsy’s Lil Witches A2 Quick Card Fronts. I diecut her and the layers behind her with the Antique ATC Frames Dies. For the layers I used (from front to back) Copper Stardream, Lessebo Pitch Black and White Diamond Print Glitter Inkjet papers. I created the corner accents by diecutting Lessebo Pitch Black with the ATC Book Dies. I heat-embossed the accents with a copper embossing powder to give them the appearance of metal.

For the page on the left, I stamped a sentiment from the Trick or Treat House set and diecut it with the Slimline ATC Windows Dies and matted it with Lessebo Pitch Black that I diecut with the same die set. Onto Colorplan Purple cardstock, I heat-embossed a sentiment from Trick or Treat House and diecut it with the Frame Labels Dies. For the page on the right, I created a photo mat from Colorplan Fuchsia Pink and Lessebo Pitch Black. Using the Spiders and Webs Dies, I diecut the spider web from White Diamond Print Glitter Inkjet paper.

I created a flap for the page on the right, above, from Colorplan Rust cardstock. I embellished it with a stamped sentiment from the Good Fright set, which I diecut with the Frame Labels Dies. The photo mat on the left is made with Colorplan Purple cardstock.

I used the Jack o’Lanterns Border Die to create the pumpkin border on the left page, above. I diecut the pumpkins from Colorplan Rust and backed the faces with Lessebo Pitch Black. I colored the stems with a black marker. The page on the right features another witch from the Lil Witches A2 Quick Card Fronts. I diecut her with the Antique ATC Frames Dies, as well as a mat from Flame Stardream. I adhered them to a panel cut from Colorplan Amethyst with the Slimline ATC Windows Dies. I embossed the black strip behind the witch with the Bats Galore Embossing Folder. The sentiment is from the Spirited Sentiments set and was diecut with the Frame Labels Dies, as was the Colorplan Purple mat behind it.

I created a pocket on the last page and tucked in some photo mats diecut from Colorplan Amethyst with the Slimline ATC Windows. I embellished the pocket with a strip of Mix-n-Match 2 paper and a heat-embossed sentiment from the Fuzzy Spiders set on Colorplan Amethyst. I diecut the sentiment and the Colorplan Purple mat behind it with the Frame Labels Dies. On the inside of the back cover, I glued a photo mat trimmed from Colorplan Lavender.
Thanks for stopping by! I had so much fun putting together this mini album and can’t wait to fill it with photos!
