Snow Cute Scrapbook Layout

Hello there! Today I’m sharing a 12×12 scrapbook layout featuring new papers and ephemera from My Pretty Things (MPT).

For this layout I used MPT’s new Through the Woods 12×12 patterned paper and coordinating ephemera. I love the soft colors and adorable critters of this collection! In addition to wintry layouts, it would make really sweet baby projects, too.

For my layout I chose two patterned papers from the Through the Woods 12×12 pack. I trimmed down the pink paper slightly and adhered it to blue cardstock. I trimmed down the blue paper and matted it with green cardstock. Using my scissors, I cut a snow bank from white cardstock. I distressed the curved edge of the white paper and inked the sides and bottom with light gray ink before adhering it to my layout.

I matted the top photos with both white and pink cardstocks and adhered them to my background. For the first part of my title, I diecut “snow” from blue cardstock and chipboard and stacked the letters to create dimension. For a little fun, I swapped out the “o” with a diecut snowflake. I popped up my title with thin foam tape and accented the snowflake with a sequin from the Snow Flurries mix.

I matted my bottom photo with white cardstock and a polka dot paper from the Through the Woods 6×6 paper pack. Before adhering it to my layout, I inked the edges of the polka dot paper with light gray ink. To finish my title, I diecut “cute” from glitter cardstock and adhered it to a torn strip of vellum, which I popped up with foam tape.

I created a scene on the snow bank with several images from the Through the Woods Ephemera. I finished the page with some sequins and gems from the Snow Flurries mix.
