Wonderland Two-Page Layout

Wonderland Two-Page Layout

Hi, friends! Today I’m sharing a two-page scrapbook layout featuring a gorgeous paper collection from My Pretty Things.

I was so excited when My Pretty Things came out with their Adventures in Wonderland paper in 12×12! I loved the paper in its original 6×6 format, but I couldn’t wait to document my daughter’s birthday with the 12×12 papers.

After planning my photo placement, I chose four of the 12×12 papers and trimmed them into strips of various widths. I inked the edges of the strips with gray ink before adhering them onto a background of pink cardstock. To create the scallops on the yellow paper, I used a paper punch from my stash. The flags were created from the Adventures in Wonderland 6×6 paper pack.

The Watercolor Wonderland Wide Washi Tape pairs perfectly with the Adventures in Wonderland paper. I applied a section of the washi tape to white cardstock and diecut it with the coordinating die. The washi tape roll is 33′ long, which means I can create beautiful embellishments for oodles of paper projects!

To create a focal point for my title, I cut circles from two of the 6×6 papers. I cut the polka dot paper with the Stitched Circle Dies and the yellow damask paper with the Stitched Scallop Circle Dies. I inked up the edges of each circle with gray ink before layering them together. I diecut my title out of more 6×6 papers using a few die sets from my stash. Under the layered circles, I tucked in lots of floral diecuts created with the Watercolor Wonderland Wide Washi Tape and coordinating die.

To accent my journaling and this photo of my daughter, I cut two more circles from the 6×6 papers using the two circle die sets named above. Again, I tucked in more floral diecuts created with the washi tape. It’s easy to trim apart the flower clusters and create your own floral arrangements!

For the embellishment cluster above, I again cut circles from the 6×6 papers and tucked in more floral diecuts from the washi tape. I also added a sentiment from the Gold Foiled Sentiments, which I trimmed into a banner. There are so many fun sentiments perfect for cards and layouts!

I love how this layout came together. The Adventures in Wonderland papers are gorgeous, and the Watercolor Wonderland Wide Washi Tape makes the perfect embellishments to go with the papers!
