Hello, again! Today I’m sharing an adorable 3D project created with dies from Spellbinders.

Last fall Spellbinders released the Fergus Etched Dies which create the cutest 3D felt gnome. They recently added to the Fergus line with two new die sets: 3D Eggs & Flowers Felt Decor Dies and Spring Embellishments Felt Decor Dies. I loved making a holiday gnome with the original dies and was so excited to create a spring gnome with the new sets!

After selecting my felt, I used the Fergus Etched Dies to diecut the elements for the gnome. To stitch my gnome, I followed the video tutorials by Sandi MacIver, which can be found on the Spellbinders website or on their YouTube channel.

I embellished my gnome with flowers. The daisies and leaves are from the 3D Eggs & Flowers Felt Decor Dies, and the small flowers are from the Winter & Christmas Embellishments Dies.

I stitched the leaves before attaching them and the flowers to my gnome with hot glue. I glued a flat-backed gem to the center of each flower. Love the interest and sparkle the gems provide!

I love how this spring gnome turned out! I hope to make some of the eggs with the 3D Eggs & Flowers Felt Decor Dies to go with him.
