Picket Fence Studios May Release & Giveaway

Hello there! There’s a new release today from Picket Fence Studios, and it’s blooming with lots of fabulous products!

My card features several new products; most notably is the Sweet Summer Bellflowers stamp set. Aren’t those foxgloves lovely? And they’re so much fun to color! I stamped them in Black Hybrid Ink and colored them with Copics. I used colored pencils to add more depth and then cut out the images with the coordinating dies.

That fun background is compliments of the new A2 Saying Hello Cover Plate Die. Isn’t it fun? I love the postage vibe. I diecut the plate from both white cardstock and vellum. Using the vellum diecut as a stencil, I blended Kitsch Flamingo Distress Ink with a Life Changing Blender Brush onto a white panel. Once I was finished ink-blending, I added splatters of water and three shades of Paper Splatter with the Fan Brush. The colors of Paper Splatter are Pink Blossom, Purple Tulip and White Snowflake.

Once my background was dry, I adhered it to a white card and glued the white diecut panel on top. I affixed my colored images with foam. For my sentiment I combined the new Hello to You Word Dies with the Swanky Sentiments: Sympathy stamp set. I diecut “hello” from both glitter and white cardstocks and layered them before attaching the word to my card with bits of foam tape. I stamped a companion sentiment from the Swanky Sentiments: Sympathy set with Black Hybrid ink, trimmed it out with the coordinating dies, and popped it up onto my card. To finish my card, I added a few clear sequins from my stash.
