Hello, again! I’m switching gears from fall to Christmas (It never hurts to get ahead on Christmas cards!) thanks to some gorgeous dies Spellbinders sent me.

That beautiful sleigh is from Spellbinders’ Delivering Joy Sleigh Dies. I MAY have gone overboard with the gifts, but let’s be honest, we would all like Santa to deliver at least that many, right?

I diecut the sleigh and its decorations from colored, glitter and foil cardstocks. For the presents I used Spellbinders’ Christmas Traditions Paper (The patterned paper is on the thinner side, so I also cut white layers and glued the patterned paper on top). Before assembling the sleigh, I added ink to the edges of the red layer for some dimension.

Let’s talk about that gorgeous background, shall we? To create it I hot foiled the Winter Rose Background Betterpress Plate onto green cardstock with Polished Brass Glimmer Foil. There is also a coordinating stencil for the plate, and I can’t wait to use it on a project. I trimmed down the panel and adhered it to a white cardbase.

I diecut the white rectangle with the Fluted Classics Rectangle Dies. I just love the details these dies create! I attached the rectangle to my card with foam tape and popped up the sleigh. I tucked in the gifts and greenery, securing them with liquid adhesive, and affixed the cute tag with a bit of foam. I finished the card with a scattering of gold dots.
Thanks for stopping by!
