Hello, again, friends! Waffle Flower Crafts‘ Spook-tacular Release is now available – YAY! I have one more card to share with you, and I also have a giveaway over on my Instagram account, so pop over for a chance to win a gift certificate to the Waffle Flower shop.

I love that there are two sizes of spiders and two eyeball shapes in the Cute Spiders Dies! I thought it would be fun to create a spooky scene with the eyes, and I think it worked because this little spider certainly looks frightened by what – or who! – might be lurking in the dark!

Using the Cute Spiders Dies, I cut out the spider and the eyes from white cardstock. I colored everything with Copics and added highlights with a white gel pen. I adhered the eyes to the spider and the pupils to the eyes by applying double-sided adhesive behind the spider and eyes and inlaying the pieces.

For my background I used the new Spider Web Texture Die. I diecut white cardstock and blended it with the following colors of distress ink: Salvaged Patina, Broken China, Unchartered Mariner, Faded Jeans, and Black Soot. I added splatters of water, which I blotted with a towel, for more interest. I adhered the panel to a cardbase and attached my diecuts, popping up the spider with foam.

My sentiment is from the Happy Halloween stamp set. I white heat-embossed it onto a strip of black cardstock and dabbed white pigment ink onto the strip. I glued the strip to my card and finished with some teal glitter drops.
Thanks for stopping by! Don’t forget to check out the giveaway on my Instagram account for a chance to win a gift certificate to Waffle Flower! Also, the Postage Collage Moth Stencil-n-Die I used on a card one Wednesday is free with a $50 purchase, while supplies last.
