Hi, friends! It’s hard to believe we’re almost halfway to Christmas! Just in time to get a jump on holiday crafting, Spellbinders released lots of Christmas goodies this month. They really know how to do the holidays!

My first project features the Gifting Bow Dies from the Merry Moments Collection. I love the big, flowy bow the set makes and all of the fun ways to embellish it! I have a mirror in my dining room that I like to decorate for Christmas, which inspired today’s project.

For this project I began by creating the sentiment panel. First, I diecut a frame from gold cardstock with the Fluted Classics Rectangles Dies (retired). I also diecut a frame from white cardstock and stacked the two frames for stability. Onto a panel of white cardstock, I hot-foiled a sentiment from the Essential Christmas Greetings Hot Foil Plate with Gold Glimmer Foil. I adhered the frame to the sentiment panel with a layer of foam tape.

Using the Gifting Bow Dies, I diecut the bow and greenery from red and green cardstocks, respectively. I blended each diecut with coordinating inks to create some dimension. Next, I glued the greenery to the frame and attached the bow. I diecut the ornaments, toppers, and hooks with the Gifting Bow Dies and, after assembling them, tucked them into the greenery, trimming away the excess. I secured the ornaments to the sentiment panel with two layers of foam.

I embossed a panel of dark gray cardstock with the Peppermint Stripes Embossing Folder and affixed it to a cardbase. I attached the framed sentiment with double-sided adhesive and finished with a few gold pearls.
