Hello there! I’m back with another card featuring Pink & Main’s September Release. This time I’m focusing on the new Gingerbread House Dies. This set has so many ways to embellish that sweet gingerbread house (pun intended)!

Using the Gingerbread House Dies, I diecut all of the elements from white and colored cardstocks. Before assembling the diecuts, I lightly blended many of them with coordinating inks to create a little dimension.

To create a background for my gingerbread house, I diecut pink cardstock with the largest Stitched Arches Die. I embosssed the arch with the Holiday Sayings Embossing Folder. Because I had used cardstock with a white core, I sanded the embossed areas to make the designs pop. Alternatively, if your paper does not have a white core, you could lightly swipe white ink across the embossed areas.

I diecut an arched frame from glitter cardstock by taping the two largest Stitched Arches Dies together before running them through my diecutter. I glued the frame to my embossed arch and adhered the arch to a kraft cardbase with foam tape. I attached my assembled gingerbread house to the card with foam.

I diecut two, pink swirls using the Gingerbread House Dies and glued them to the cardbase. For a little more sparkle, I embellished the gingerbread house with a couple of glitter enamel dots and brushed on some clear sparkle.
Thanks for stopping by! This card is part of an Instagram Hop. If you’d like a chance to win a gift certificate, be sure to pop over!
